2003 Children's Christmas Party
Each year, members of Local 168 try and help a few children who are not as fortunate as others might be. We collect money each month and buy toys and some clothes for the kids and serve them a hot dog lunch with Santa. Captain Danny Johnston started this several years ago and has faithfully worked hard on this project. Joe Poyner who retired after 25 years as a dispatcher gives his gift by supplying the food for the children's lunch. Joe has been retired for a few years now and still looks forward to each Christmas party.
